Robb, the bare-chested blogger

Robb
Robb Chew, 21, a blogger from Setapak, Kuala Lumpur, woke up one day after a party to find his half-naked body plastered over the metro pages of a national newspaper, the Star.

"After looking at the picture I went ranting. 'How can they show me half topless like this? I thought media has a policy that can't expose anyone local with their top halves unclothed?' "

However, the reactions from friends and colleagues were mostly favourable.

"Nice nipples - but I notice you are wearing a spare tyre!" they said.

Robb, who admits he needs to put more time into working out, is liason executive for Nuffnang, a blog advertising community.

Advertisers to serve graphic or video-based advertisements on blogs in Nuffnang’s network.

The night before his picture appeared, Robb and the authors of 330 Nuffgang-member blogs from Malaysia and Singapore held a pyjama party to mark their first anniversary.

But for the bare-chest shot, Robb is delighted with the publicity, as you might expect. The day before the party, he went to his hair-dresser to get his hair done, as he knew cameras would be present.

However, he says his hair lost its new styling as he raced about looking after people that night. His blog is here (link harvested - it died).
