Baying at the moon

Massage is full of interesting body manoeuvres.

Having just read a book showing various massage positions, borrowed from my masseur friends here in the market, I now know a few. However, I keep discovering new ones.

'Every mor nuat (massage doctor, or massage therapist) has her own style, and sometimes we change the way we massage to suit the customer,' said Mor Pu, who gave me a body massage for the first time today.

Mo Pu is a modest one. She placed a towel over my body while massaging it. She did not go near the groin. However, she did massage my head, which was a bonus, as no one had offered to do the pressure points there before.

'Is it heavy?' I asked.

She laughed.

'Yes, it is. What is it, brain?'

'No, just bone,' I said.

Mor Ya, a kathoey (ladyboy), gave me what she calls her special massage, on my previous visit to the shop, two days before.

She does not shy from the groin area. In fact, she presses, rubs and manipulates every part of it.

Mor Ya told me to lie on my back to prepare for the big event. 'I don't do this for just anyone,' she said.

She put tiger balm on her hands, then slid her hands up my legs, starting at the knees.

She went further, plunging inside the legs of my shorts.

Her short, fat hands climbed higher still, until she reached my underwear.

She stopped short of entering my underpants, though she has been inside there before; perhaps they no longer held out any mystery.

'Where does it hurt?'

I pointed to the inside of my arms, at the elbow joint. Mor Ya grabbed my sore spot, held on, then started twisting. She called out my name, which morphed into howling noise, like a dog baying at the moon.

'Aaooooo!'

Mor Ya was enjoying inflicting pain on me as much as (she hoped) I was enjoying receiving it.

I did enjoy it while I was there, though after she had finished and my body started to recover, the throbbing became intense.

Sleep did not come easily that night. Perhaps I need more workouts with Mor Ya.
